Jacob Srampickal is a jesuit who got involved in the media from his early years in formation. He has authored several books including “Voice to the Voiceless, the Power of People’s Theatre in India” (Doctoral theses from the University of Leeds). He has been the president of the Catholic Associations for media in India and Asia. He has written several scripts and produced many video films including the popular “Purushotham” and “OOOPrem Apaar”. Presently he is the Academic Director of N1SCORT, the National Institute of Social Communications, Research and Training of the Catholic Church in Delhi.
