Description

Mother Teresa is the founder of the Order of the Missionaries of Charity, a Roman Catholic congregation of women and men dedicated to helping the poor. Considered one of the 20th Century’s greatest humanitarians, she was canonized as Saint Teresa of Kolkata on 4 September 2016 by Pope Francis. “Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.” (St. Teresa of Kolkata). I would like to humbly revere and honour the memory of this great Saint in Heart Springs.’ One of the modern saints I have admired is undoubtedly St. Teresa of Kolkata. She has inspired me in ways more than one. Humble and frail in demeanour, she did much good and accomplished great things for God and people. It is not easy to find persons who are so human, convinced and committed like her. She was able to see the face of Christ in every suffering, needy brother and sister. My tribute to you dear Mother!

About the Author

Fr. Sebastian Jose, SDB, MA (Eng.), is a member of the Salesians of Don Bosco, Dimapur Province. He is currently the Rector of Don Bosco College, Maram, Manipur. He has ample experience in the field of education and leadership training. He has served as Asst. pastor, Asst. Headmaster, Headmaster, Principal and Rector in some Salesian settings in the Province. He has rendered pastoral and educational services in Upper-Assam, Nagaland and Manipur in the last 37 years. This is his second book after the first ‘Gleaming Gleanings’ published by Media House in 2015.
