The book gives the readers an opportunity to get a glimpse of the short span of the forty-one years of the life of Servant of God Rani Maria, her infancy, the spiritual ambience of the family that nurtured her faith, the circumstances that shaped her vocation to religious life, the formative years, her dauntless courage to bring hope and love of Christ to the poorest of the poor, the forces that gathered against her in her mission and the ultimate price that she had to pay in her attempt to fulfill the mandate of Jesus.

About the Author

Aloysius Kattady, Franciscan of the Third Order Regular, holds a MA degree from the Catholic University of America. He is the author of nineteen books and compiler of two books, of which eight have been published by St. PAULS and six by Media House. Ordained a priest in 1962, most of his ministry has been in the areas of education, development, religious administration and spiritual assistance.
